SCHMIDTY TUNING PACKAGES:
We can tune the cars with no mods at all, just a set of plugs as well
however the recommended parts below entail the best "Bang For Your Buck" as we ramp up the power & performance of your ATS-V or CTS V-Sport
STAGE 1
With this package an ATS-V has the potential to run drag passes ranging from high 10 seconds to mid 11 seconds in the ¼ mile while producing around
500-550 RWHP give or take depending on the dyno.
- Schmidty Tune
- Drop in KN Filters - Click Here
- Downpipes – We recommend Renick Performance's Universal LF3/4 resonated "H"Downpipes for both ATSV and CTS Vsport
- Soler Performance throttle body with Velocity stack- Click Here
Schmidty Flex Fuel Tunes
The stock ATSV fuel system can be tuned with a roughly E30 blend. The CTS Vsport can handle a bit more, usually in the E35-E40 range however if you want to run more boost and higher ethanol content you need to upgrade the fuel systems. Flex fuel tunes require a flex fuel sensor, tune, would highly reccomend grabbing and AEM OBD2 wideband, and its a good idea to add a P3 gauge to monitor E content. We have seen as much as 550-590 RWHP from ATSVs on E30 tunes.
-Flex fuel sensor - Click Here
-AEM OBD2 Wideband - Click Here
-P3 Gauge to display Ethanol content(ATSV) Click Here (CTSV/Vsport) Click Here
(optional but highly reccomended to keep an eye on E content easily)
STAGE 2
Known as our famous "Grey Sweatpants Package" an ATS-V can be expected to run anywhere from high 9 seconds to mid 10 seconds through the ¼ mile while producing 600-650 RWHP typically.
This is where we step things up with fuel system modifications for E60 blends and more boost. These are the most commonly used parts currently.
We reccomend ATSV running ethanol blends and higher boost levels to run a quality 5w40 oil.

- AEM OBD2 Wideband - Click Here
- XDI HPFP - Click Here
- P3 Gauge to display Ethanol content(ATSV) Click Here (CTSV/Vsport) Click Here

6. ATI Damper, Optional, but very good idea for engine health and longevity Click Here
At this power level running E85 our reccomendation is to run different oil as well, you may be OK with high end 5w30 race oils, but personally, we prefer to bump up to 0w40 M1 Supercar (Here) once tuned or even Supercar 5w50 (Here) this is what I am running in my ATSV which is the fastest stock frame turbo ATSV in the world currently at 9.3@144 mph in the 1/4 mile and has given me no trouble.
In order to provide the most fueling potential and run full E85 on stock turbos we recommend
With the DSX auxiliary fuel pump you can skip the XDI LPFP upgrade and just run this with the stock LPFP as well.
Stage 3 - 700+RWHP
At this point you would likely want to have most everything listed above in terms of fueling and supporting mods to support upgraded turbos and potentially pushing the car up over 700RWHP
Fuel mods-
Supporting mods
-Valve springs- Here
-ATI Damper- Click Here
-APR Aged 625+ Head Studs- Here
We currently offer a few stock frame turbo upgrade options
-TurbosRus (Here)
-Turbobay V4 (Here)|
You would want to get some larger inlets when running upgraded turbos, we sell ported and polished ZZP inlets that have been modified for larger turbos Here
Would also reccomend grabbing a set of turbo blankets at this time as they will help keep the heat where we want it, in the turbos for quicker spool times and increased efficiency Here
Supercar 5W50 oil Here
Brisk RR12s Plugs at 018 Here
We do not recommend combining the ZZP fuel lobe cam with HPFP upgrade
